Our coarse cracked spelt grains are wholemeal. During production, the spelt grains, which are cleaned and dehulled beforehand, are coarsely crushed ("sliced") by the roller mill. Cracked spelt grains are often used in bread / small baked goods to keep the products fresh. They are usually boiled or brewed before.
