Just like our big oat flakes, our small oat flakes are also wholemeal flakes. For small oat flakes, however, the oat kernels – which are cleaned and dehulled beforehand – are first crushed and only then steamed in a particularly gentle process, before being rolled into small oat flakes. All important vitamins, minerals and fibre are preserved. Oat flakes contain, among other things, beta-glucan, which has been shown to lower cholesterol levels and aid digestion.
SchapfenMühle offers standard qualities, as well as flakes "made to measure".
