Spelt is the original form of wheat. Its special feature is the second husk (spelt) surrounding the grain, which provides natural protection against external environmental influences. The protective husk is removed during a complex dehulling process. In the following milling process, the grain husk is separated and processed into bran containing fibre. By sieving the result, you are left with a particularly fine-flaked, free-flowing spelt bran.
Our spelt bran makes a valuable contribution to your balanced, fibre-rich diet and can be used in a variety of ways. Thanks to its mild, slightly nutty taste and unique tenderness, it is very suitable for refining porridge and muesli, for use as a refining baking ingredient, or as a topping on vegetables and yoghurt.
