As little as 15 g of flax seed (whole) per day (equivalent to 3.4 g of omega-3 alpha-linolenic acid) can contribute to a cholesterol-conscious diet. It is important to ensure that you maintain a varied and balanced diet, as well as a healthy lifestyle.
