Place the low-fat quark, eggs, sugar, milk and a pinch of salt in a mixing bowl and stir with a handheld mixer until smooth. Mix the baking powder into the flour, add to the mixture little by little, and stir with a handheld mixer at a slow speed until a smooth dough forms.
Heat the fat in a frying pan and add small quantities with a tablespoon.
Gently fry them on a low heat in fat on both sides until golden brown.
After baking, remove from the pan and place on kitchen paper to drain.
TIP:
Delicious apple compote, red fruit jelly or ice cream goes well with it. The quark puffs are a real treat enjoyed either hot and cold.
