Put the milk, honey, oil and egg into a mixing bowl and mix evenly with a handheld mixer.
Add the spelt bran, spelt flour, ground nuts and baking powder and mix with a handheld mixer until all ingredients are evenly mixed, moistened and a homogeneous mass is formed.
Preheat oven to 200 °C (top/bottom heat).
Spoon the mixture into 12 muffin cups or into a muffin tray and bake for about 15 – 17 minutes.
